Nicole and Jeff were actually winners of our Engagement Session giveaway a few months back, so we just had to show off their photos with all of you! Nicole shared that her and Jeff have a special sentiment towards Laguna Beach as this was the place of their first home together. It just felt right to have their engagement session there seeing as this represents the start of their lives together. It really is such a special place; you have the beach at your fingerprints and yet a little touch of city right up the street. And, I don’t think I could have asked for a more beautiful couple – just look at their photos below! Congrats to the both of you!

I’ve been lucky enough to witness the Stift’s growing family right from the start. That’s what I really love about living and working in Orange County – the families. It is seriously an amazing place to raise your kids, and I’m sure the Stift’s could agree with me;)I also cannot believe how much their Blake has grown! I’ve been taking pictures of him since BEFORE he was even born. And wow – what a serious cutie. Thank you Ashley and Ian for letting me be apart of your amazing journey as parents. I look forward to many more years of cementing family memories into beautiful pictures.

Happy New Year everyone!

Wow – I don’t think I could ever say enough about how amazing the Mugg kids are! This year the Mugg’s decided to have just the kids in their Christmas cards, and it was so much fun. They were looking for something a little more with an industrial feel, and we found it at the Great Park in Irvine. Kylie looked gorgeous and the boys were equally as handsome in their formal wear. Their parents couldn’t make it this time around, but I was so impressed with how well they treated each other! They all get along great – I’m pretty sure I could photograph them every week:)Here are a few of my favorites ones from the shoot. Look for the one of them blowing the snow…so much fun!

We at Focus Photography hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their loved ones! I love getting to eat all of that yummy food and spend time with my family and friends. But, I am also so glad to be back looking at these beautiful pictures of Mr. & Mrs. Anderson! Wow – what a great day it was to get married. They chose to have their wedding at The Villa, a rustic yet chic venue tucked away in downtown San Juan Capistrano. I always jump at the chance to get to shoot weddings there because the photos always turn out amazing. Plus, I got to sneak a little taste of that delicious wedding cake by It’s all About the Cake. If you haven’t tried any of their cakes yet, do yourself a favor this holiday season and get one!

It was no surprise how stunning Katie looked in her Reem Acra wedding dress. And of course her bridesmaids in their floral crowns by Floral Occasions added such a unique touch to their flawless style. Chris was such a gentleman throughout the whole day, looking at Katie with such love in his eyes. They are a beautiful couple with a beautiful future ahead. It was a pleasure to capture this day for the two of them.

I will never tire of getting to shoot a wedding at Hotel Seven4One in Laguna Beach. It has such a calming and relaxing feeling – which is exactly what you need on your wedding day! Actually, Deanna and Jarrod could have had their wedding anywhere and been just as relaxed. I’ve never seen a bride so calm, cool and collected. Not to mention stunning in her Lea Ann Belter Bridal gown. We were lucky enough to get to work with the amazing Perry Field Films and Four Leaf Clover Studio – did you see that amazing bouquet they created!?  Here are a few of my favorites from their special day!
