Natalie + Ali: Engagement Session at the San Juan Capistrano Orchards

It was so nice to see Natalie again… We had the pleasure of shooting her brothers wedding a couple of years ago at The Langham Hotel in Pasadena.  Now it’s her turn!  So excited to see everything come together and work with their awesome family again:-) As for their engagement session:  We love shooting in this area! The orchards have so many great little hidden areas that are just beautiful.  Here are a few of our favorites:

Alyson + Paul: Wedding Photos at Montecito Country Club, Santa Barbara

Alyson and Paul got married at the beautiful Montecito Country Club in Santa Barbara.  Alyson is a total sweetheart, and we are so blessed to have her as one of our clients:) Alyson and Paul were so relaxed the day of their wedding which made our job that much easier!;) Everyone was so great to work with and did a fantastic job the entire day.  The whole day went along smoothly thanks to wedding coordinator, Kendle of Lauren Kendle Event Production.  Kendle and her team couldn’t have planned a more perfect day for Alyson and Paul!:)

A big THANK YOU to Jillian Cathey for referring Alyson to us;)

Caroline + James: Engagement Session at the San Juan Capistrano Orchards

Caroline and James picked probably the most perfect winter day to do their engagement session…  the weather was so warm and there was no wind whatsoever. Love that!  When we showed up, we were pleasantly surprised that the mustard fields were in full bloom as well!  It was the perfect setting for their session:) They also brought along their adorable dog, Button, to be in some of the photos too.

Check out our favorites below!

Elaine + Marcus: Downtown Los Angeles (Art District) Engagement Session

Marcus & Elaine were so fun to work with!  We had a blast walking around the “Art District in Downtown LA” looking for spots to shoot at.  The light was perfect and just made for a perfect E-Session:) Cannot wait for their wedding!

Baby Maxine is 5 Months now… I wish time would slow down, darn it!

Where do I begin?  Being a mom has beyond exceeded my expectations.  My sweet little Maxine is so much more than I could have ever dreamed she would be.  I remember people telling me how hard it was going to be, and how much work babies are, and don’t worry if she cries all the time, or won’t eat this, or acts like this, or that… etc.  Well, to my surprise, she has been pure joy, she is the happiest little lamb chop I ever met, eats everything in sight (check out that chin:)and just loves everyone!  Once she started sleeping through the night about a month or so ago – I though I died and went to heaven – 12 hours of AWESOME sleep.  I thank her every morning:)   I know, it sounds like I am bragging – trust me, not trying to, it’s just so crazy how things turn out.  Everyday she gets a little bit bigger, reaches another tiny goal, and just amazes me.  I am sincere when I say I wish time would slow down.  At this rate, I am going to require having at least a few more of these little sweethearts ASAP!  So here are a few little shots I took of her while trying to get some editing work done the other day in my office/baby gym.  Would you look at those drumsticks?  I just want to kiss her a million times all over.
